🏭 Product Description

Pipes, heat exchangers, and other metallic components in geothermal energy systems are exposed to high temperature, mineral-rich water, dissolved gases (O₂, CO₂, H₂S), and chloride ions, which can cause rapid corrosion. This reduces equipment lifespan, increases maintenance costs, and threatens operational continuity.

Teget Kimya’s Geothermal Corrosion Inhibitors are specially formulated to protect metal surfaces operating under high temperature and pressure. With a combination of organic and inorganic inhibitors, they form a protective film layer on carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and alloys, preventing direct contact between the metal and geothermal water.

🔬 Mechanism of Action

Anodic Protection: Forms a passive oxide layer, preventing corrosion at anodic sites.

Cathodic Protection: Slows reactions at cathodic sites, controlling hydrogen evolution.

Film Formation: Creates an impermeable barrier against water and corrosive ions.
